1. Moving from a trial to a paid plan
To update the number of licenses on your account or to move from a trial version to a paid plan, follow these steps:
Log into your DataGrows account
Go to Settings in the left-hand navigation
Click on My Account, then fill in your details for invoicing purposes.
Click on Update.
Go to My Plan.
You now have the option to:
1.1.Change your plan or select add-ons
The Current plan name will indicate the plan that you are on.
To change to another plan, click on Select Plan, then click on the new plan that you want.

1.2.Debit Order (Recommended)
* Please note that Debit Orders are only run on the 1st of each month.
We recommend paying via Debit Order.
Payments will be deducted on the 1st of the month in arrears.
30-day notice to cancel.
Small business discounts (for firms with fewer than 50 clients and 1 accountant) are only offered on Debit Orders.
To subscribe via debit order:
The debit order option will be selected as a default.
Click on Subscribe
Once you click subscribe, a Debit Order Mandate will be emailed to you.
Please send the signed mandate to support@mydatagrows.com along with a bank verification letter.
You will be billed for each accountant/user that has the Allocate License checked in the Accountant table. So please make sure to adjust your user access accordingly. The only user access which is free of charge is the Assistant Role. This post will explain how to change user access.
1.3.Payfast Payments
If you want to make payments through Payfast:
Click on the PayFast option
Select the number of licenses you need to pay for. Each Accountant/User added to the Accountant Table will need a license. The only user access which is free of charge is the Assistant Role. This post will explain how to change user access.
Select the Day of the month the payments should go off (this will take effect from your second payment onwards).
Click Subscribe
Follow the PayFast prompts.
2. Upgrade the number of licenses
This describes how an Account Owner can upgrade his/her subscription.
a. Debit order
The Account Owner must follow these steps to upgrade a Debit Order payment plan.
A Super User or Partner must log into DataGrows.
Then click on the Accounting CRM
Go to Setup
Accountant
Select the records of the staff you want to give access to.
Check the ‘Allocate license’ checkbox.
Save.
Do this for each staff member you want to add.
If the staff member does not reflect on this table, Click on ADD RECORD to add them to the table.
The new licenses will be added to your next payment, which goes off on the 1st of each month.
b. PayFast
The Account Owner must follow these steps to upgrade a PayFast payment plan.
The account owner must log in to DataGrows
Then go to Settings
My Plan
Adjust the number of licenses to reflect the new TOTAL number of licenses that should have access.
Click Update
Then click on ‘My Databases’
Accounting CRM
Go to Setup
Accountant
Select the records of the staff member you want to give access to.
Check the ‘Allocate license’ checkbox.
Save.
Do this for each staff member you want to add.
If the staff member does not reflect on this table, Click on ADD RECORD to add them to the table.
The new amount will be added to your next payment through PayFast.
DataGrows will prevent some of your staff from accessing the app if you do not purchase enough licenses. An error message will pop up stating that “You do not have enough licenses for all your users, please purchase more licenses”.
