A default value is a predetermined value that will automatically be added to a field if no other value is entered.
You can add a default value to a column in two ways:
When creating a new column or when editing an existing column.
When creating a new column:
Click on +Column to create a new column.
Enter a default value in the default tab
Save
This default will be added to all new records in this column.

When editing an existing column:
Click on the three-dot menu next to the column name.
Select edit
Type in the default value
Save
